Pastels

Pastels 

Until a month or so ago, I had never even considered using pastels, that was of course until I watched a few amazing artists on YouTube and seen first hand the potential of this incredibly versatile medium. I have accumulate quite a selection of pastels, all of which I will be using to review and help you guys decide if Pastels are for you, or if the brands out there are suitable for your techniques. 

Obviously being new to the art scene, I am not too sure what the range was like twenty or so years ago, however, the range of colours and medium types now are fantastic. I am looking forward to practising and showcasing more paintings with pastels and while reviewing and testing the various brands and forms Pastels come in.
